Crimsonland, wonderful cult classic arena shooter 10tons is built on, is coming to Switch next Friday, November 24th. The game is priced $13.99 USD (€13.99 EUR).
Originally released in 2003 and remastered in 2014 (we’re talking about the remastered here), it still hasn’t been matched in the classic Survival mode’s intense epicness. Getting 100k score is thrilling fun, getting a million is cute, and when you cross the 100 million mark with the screen literally full of monsters and the game choking to unreal nightmare, you’ll start to get it.
”Crimsonland was originally launched in 2003 and soon became very popular. In fact, we founded 10tons on the success of Crimsonland! We remastered the game in 2014, and have been working on the remaster ever since. It’s amazing to be able to bring the best ever version of the game to Switch!” says Tero Alatalo, CEO of 10tons Ltd.
Crimsonland is a top-down twin stick arena shooter. Hallmarks of the game include the epic endless Survival mode, massive amounts of monsters on the screen simultaneously, dozens and dozens of weapons, perks, and levels, as well as immensely gratifying powerups. The game also features local co-op for up to four players.
Key Features:
- 60 quests in the Quest mode
- Up to four player local co-op
- Five survival modes: Survival, Rush, Blitz, Weapon Picker, and Nukefism
- 32 unique weapons
- 55 awesome perks
