TWO POINT HOSPITAL Review on Steam

SEGA and Two Point Studios Two Point Hospital for PC is a fast-paced yet relaxing game that allows players to construct and run their own hospitals within the beautifully crafted 3D world of Two Point. From hiring employees to designing the hospital layout, players are always involved in the management process. While meeting small objectives, players aim to spread their hospital chain throughout the Two Point region and achieve a three-star rating.

In many construction games the controls feel awkward and forced. Fortunately, Two Point Hospital has managed to create a comfortable experience that provides players with only the necessities while building. The tabs on the lower left side of the screen provide options to build and are always accessible. As players expand their hospitals they build by specific room, so they are limited to their selections which allows for simplicity and dissolves all possible confusion regarding items. Additionally, various rooms do not permit or require certain items therefore implementing this minimalistic system significantly reduces building time. In a hectic game such as this, simplicity is vital, so I found these limitations to be highly appreciated.

The objectives in Two Point Hospital are demanding but entertaining. Whether it is curing patients or earning a sum of money, the tasks are clear and easy to understand. Similarly, players are meant to sustain longstanding objectives such as employee satisfaction. Keeping staff satisfied with their pay rate is an important objective in running a successful hospital because morale determines the result of their work. Numerous times my staff requested raises or complained about their pay. Luckily SEGA and Two Point Studios makes it easy to raise pay by providing pay review. Here, players can view the satisfaction of their employee’s wages, review their work performance, and change their wages accordingly. After taking classes and earning higher qualifications, it is understood employees deserve higher pay therefore players can change them here afterwards. In contrast, poor work performance can result in firing. Keeping an eye on employee performance is an effective way to manage finances and ensure all staff are receiving fair pay.

The bizarre twist on constructing and maintaining taken by Two Point Hospital is impressive. SEGA and Two Point Studios incorporates clever characters that utilize the whimsical graphics and create a satirical twist on the potentially dreary game. Instead of being sad and gloom, the characters SEGA and Two Point Studios has crafted are bubbly and energized which are a contrast to the darkness of hospitals. The unknown sicknesses have been conjured from deep inside of the imagination and with each promotion players can only become more excited for what silly sickness will come next.

If you enjoy management and maintaining with a silly twist, I highly recommend Two Point Hospital for PC. Despite the fast-paced vibe, this game is a great way to relax after a long day. Whether it be the smooth music or the repetitive tasks, players will get lost for hours aiming to achieve a three-star hospital. But if, and when, they do, they’ll feel top notch.
