Last year’s Call of Duty Championship was held in Hollywood, California.
Now, the second annual Call of Duty Championship, which is presented by Xbox, has been announced by Activision in partnership with Major League Gaming and other international eSports partners.
The best 32 Call of Duty: Ghosts teams from around the world, covering North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia, will compete for a $1 million prize March 28-30 in Los Angeles. California.
The online tournaments will be played on Xbox 360 with select live regional finals taking place late February through early March in Australia, the UK and the US.
Then, the first official competitive Call of Duty: Ghosts live regional finals will be played on the Xbox Onee console – and will also be broadcasted live on MLG.tv as well as other broadcast partners.
The Second Annual Call of Duty Championship tournament is open to all qualified players, whether professional gamers or not, provided they meet the requirements of the official rules and regulations.
