PUBG MOBILE Pro League Americas and World League Postponed

Due to current global COVID-19 outbreak PUBG MOBILE to hold-off hosting Pro League Americas and World League to ensure safety for players and staff

LOS ANGELESPUBG MOBILE has announced that due to the recent development of the COVID-19 outbreak around the world, they will postpone plans to hold the PUBG MOBILE Pro League Americas and the PUBG MOBILE World League to a later stage this year.

“The health of our players, staff and contractors are our highest priority. While we’re saddened to post-pone our tournament, we’re dedicated to ensure the safety of everyone involved. We also see this as an opportunity to mobilize esports, and we’re working closely with our teams to further improve coverage of our servers around the world & Americas.” says James Yang, Director of PUBG MOBILE Global eSports, Tencent Games.

PUBG MOBILE will continue closely monitoring the situation and update the latest event date and information via social community in the near future.

Earlier this year, PUBG MOBILE announced their next layer of professional competition for their global eSports eco-system, investing more than $5 million USD in prize pool winnings for the entire year’s program and more professional support to establish regional Pro Leagues and the World League.
