Berlin – Sandbox Interactive today announced the results of their special Charity Pack sale, which ran from April 2-30. The fundraiser collected a grand total of $46,309.42/€42,644.94 for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, with 100% of the proceeds being donated. The pack included an offhand costume item, the Staff of Hermes, as well as a unique avatar ring.
Today also saw the launch of the Season 9 Patch, which brought major improvements and changes to numerous aspects of the game, including:
- Massive updates to the mobile gameplay experience
- Outlands Banks, offering gear storage in the game’s lawless “black zones”
- Changes to territory control, additional Crystal League timeslots, and Season Points from elite bosses
- Quality-of-life improvements to the Mail system, building UI, and world map
- Albion’s ninth Guild Season begins on Saturday, May 16. In anticipation of the upcoming season, a Fame Boost will be active until Monday, May 11 at 10:00 UTC, giving an additional 25% Fame on all activities.
