After over 100,000 sign-ups after a week, Predecessor is staying live on PlayStation 5. Almost 1,000,000 matches have been played since January 15th, so Omeda Studios has decided the players want the servers to continue running.
The current phase of testing will be ending January 28th, and they’ve decided to continue the beta onward starting January 29th. They will run Phase 2 until they’re ready to take the next steps in the PlayStation development. PlayStation players will be able to play alongside PC players for the foreseeable future of the game.
Omeda also plans to release an Open Beta later this year.

I was born and raised in a town so small there were more cows than people. I joined the USAF as soon as I could, and I currently reside in San Antonio. I am a singer/songwriter on the side, but I've been a gamer since birth. I grew up with PlayStation and Nintendo, though, I don't discriminate between consoles and PC. I have a PC with a 3080, Steam Deck, and a PS5.
