This week, the creators of Destiny 2 held a livestream to give players a sneak peek at new material that will be released for Act I of Destiny 2: Revenant, which launches on October 8. The team provided a detailed preview of various new features during the webcast, such as Onslaught: Salvation, tonic crafting, new weaponry, Artifact benefits, and more. The tale of Revenant and the reappearance of several significant characters from the Destiny universe were also hinted to by the developers. The group also gave a thorough explanation of Codename: Frontiers, the new expansion paradigm for Destiny 2 that will launch in 2025. This approach prioritizes non-linear storytelling, systemic innovation, and improved core game activities. It releases two medium-sized expansions and four significant free updates annually. The expansions’ scale will be similar to that of 2016’s Destiny: Rise of Iron. The main plot of Destiny 2 will be significantly impacted by these new expansions, which will also bring forth important modifications to armor, including as new stat ranges and set bonuses that will improve value and build-crafting possibilities.
