The “Arkesia Ignited” update for Lost Ark, the largest update of the year, is now live, thanks to Amazon Games. Since the game’s second anniversary in the West, 2024 has been jam-packed with monthly content releases, culminating in this moment.
Matthew Huston and Roxanne Sabo are featured in a special blog post from Amazon Games that takes players through all of the new content and discusses the game’s future.
The following are the October Lost Ark update’s main highlights:
- New North Kurzan Continent: A crucial region where one of the greatest conflicts in Lost Ark history took place will be explored by players. As they battle the Demon Legion and Chaos Guardians, they will mobilize to face the resurgence of the primary enemy, Kazeros. With the destiny of Arkesia in their hands and unknown, the war for North Kurzan is the highest stakes game players have yet to encounter. In the game’s lore, it also signifies a significant turning point when one story ends and other adventures start.
- Tier 4 Progression System: This update adds new daily tasks, such as the four-player dungeon Kenuart Fortress and the hack-and-slash Kurzan Frontline. Character constructions will be improved by the introduction of the Ark Passive system and a redesign of engravings and accessories. Furthermore, a brand-new 16-player Behemoth Raid offers chances to obtain priceless Tier 4 materials.
- Entry for New and Returning Players: In order to increase accessibility to end-game content, the team is dedicated to lowering gatekeeping. Both new and returning players will be able to create characters on Ignite Servers that can acquire materials for quicker character advancement. The Super Mokoko Express and other current events enable players to level up fast and have fun in the game without feeling left behind.
The game’s history and progression have undergone a significant change with the October update, which closes the first chapter and opens up new quests. It’s an exciting moment for gamers, both new and old, and those thinking about coming back, as there have been significant enhancements made in response to community feedback!
