In Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, Yumia Liessfeldt and her friends embark on a quest to discover the secrets of the apocalypse that destroyed the once-great continent of Aladiss and made alchemy illegal. Mysterious characters who are obsessed with alchemy such as a Noble in a Black Cloak, a Monocular Werewolf, a Sheep-Eye Witch, and a Dragon-Winged Warrior stand in Yumia’s path.
In order to get ready for the journey ahead, players will rediscover the Atelier franchise’s renowned synthesizing mechanism in a new way by modifying “mana” to produce new items that are helpful for exploration or fighting. Fans will need to become experts at “Resonance Synthesis,” which involves incorporating elements that resonate with one another into the recipe’s “Alchemy Core” to generate more potent goods. The quality of the substances chosen will determine how strong the resonance is.
In Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, the fighting system has also been redesigned to provide engaging real-time combat with user-friendly gameplay. Depending on how far away they are from the enemy, active team members will have different talents (close or ranged fighting). Players can now move or switch characters at any point throughout the battle, unlike in earlier installments. A potent “Friend Action” combo can be used in combat when specific requirements are satisfied. Players will be able to conduct exclusive activities by activating “Mana Surge” after fulfilling specific requirements. Additionally, each character will have a special move called “Maximize Mana Surge” that can deal adversaries a lot of damage.
Players will travel through the expansive open environment of the Aladiss continent with Yumia and her friends. They will be able to establish their own bases as they go. Fans will have the freedom to design and furnish their atelier using a wide variety of walls, floors, roofs, furniture, and other elements thanks to the new “Building” function. Alternatively, they can choose from a pre-made basic model in the catalog. Players can obtain bonuses like foundation development and Yumia and her friends’ skill enhancements by raising the “comfort level” of their atelier.
Finally, players will have the option to build up a camp where they may rest or cook, which will offer several advantages during exploration and battle, if they do not want to return to their base during exploration. There will occasionally be character events that are exclusive to camps and offer more details about Yumia and her friends.
The “Athlete of Memories” early purchase costume for Yumia, the “Floating Object of Memories” costume for Flammi, and the exclusive “Training Wrist Weight” equipment are all free for anyone who buys a hard or digital copy of the game within two weeks of its release.
Players can pre-order a unique physical edition exclusively through the NIS America Store in addition to the normal edition. The main game, Yumia’s priceless plush animal, an artbook, six ornamental keychains, a CD with extra music, an official short tale, and a translation booklet are all included in the PREMIUM BOX.
