Fans can get a closer look at the game system with the recently published overview trailer, and Benitama has also released a brand-new key image to help promote the impending game. For the first time in the franchise’s history, Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land will be accessible on the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC through Steam on March 21, 2025.
Check out the Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land Game System Overview Trailer:
In Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land, Yumia Liessfeldt and her friends embark on a quest to discover the secrets of the apocalypse that destroyed the once-great continent of Aladiss and made alchemy illegal. Flammi, a soaring, self-assured traveling companion who used to belong to Yumia’s mother, will help her on her quest. Along the way, Yumia will also meet a wide range of people, such as the Alber, a small and amiable tribe that inhabits different parts of the world; Wilma, an anthropologist who is passionate about the culture of Aladiss; Erhard, the leader of the Research Team; and Licht, a highly skilled informant.
Players will seek dungeons and ruins during Yumia’s excursions for hidden treasures, such as “memory vials”—relics from the past that will enable them to reference specific information on the field, such the location of relic treasure nearby. It is also possible to disassemble “memory vials” to extract rare ingredients that are helpful for synthesis.
Players will be able to access valuable treasures by using the treasure trove keys they have discovered along the way. Treasure chests contain “trait crystals,” which can be applied to objects or machinery to enhance performance. Fans will also come across “mana geysers” in Aladiss, which will discharge “particles” that are necessary to unlock new synthesis recipes.
Exploration in Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is not without risk, though, as players may have to go into “manabound areas,” which are places where extremely dense mana is stagnant. Players’ energy will progressively be depleted by entering certain places, making it unable to run and lowering their fighting skills. Finding Alstahlia Flowers will allow players to recover their health, and finding and repairing landmarks will make the environment more navigable and clear.
Players will receive special quests from their traveling companions as they advance through the narrative, but they can also earn rewards by finishing regular quests. They will receive location missions as they explore and find and unlock landmarks and Shrines of Prayer.
Players can pre-order a unique physical edition exclusively through the NIS America Store in addition to the normal edition. The main game, Yumia’s priceless plush animal, an artbook, six ornamental keychains, a CD with extra music, an official short tale, and a translation booklet are all included in the PREMIUM BOX.
The “Athlete of Memories” early purchase costume for Yumia, the “Floating Object of Memories” costume for Flammi, and the exclusive “Training Wrist Weight” equipment are all free for anyone who buys a hard or digital copy of the game within two weeks of its release.
