Techland has released a special Halloween event for Dying Light 2: Stay Human as well as a new update for Dying Light: The Beast. Horror games are the best way to get into the Halloween spirit, and these updates are made to do just that. Players can completely immerse themselves in the spooky atmosphere of the season by playing games like Dying Light 2: Stay Human or the nightmare-filled world of Castor Woods in Dying Light: The Beast.
New Content for Dying Light: The Beast:
Along with a number of repairs and enhancements, the most recent patch for Dying Light: The Beast adds new content. In order to provide dynamic and reactive confrontations, a new human-enemy behavior enables melee-weapon adversaries to detect when a firearm is directed at them and decide to surrender rather than risk death.
Additionally, the update adds nine new weapon finishers with more vicious execution animations for a variety of weapon types, such as knives, knuckledusters, long blunt and bladed weapons, one-handed bladed weapons, and two-handed blunt and bladed weapons.
The third week of Community Challenges: Call of the Beast has begun with this update. The community rallies to meet Techland’s objectives, which this week call for hitting the adversary with millions of precise gunshots. The Bullseye rifle and the Marksman Car Skin are among the rewards that may be obtained by reaching each milestone.
Additional repairs and enhancements for advancement, stability and performance, graphics changes, user interface and audio, and in-game economics are also included in this patch. You can find the full patch notes HERE.

Halloween Showdown – Weekly Halloween event in Dying Light 2: Stay Human
Two themed sides fight for victory and special rewards in Dying Light 2: Stay Human’s new weekly event, the Halloween Showdown, which takes place from today, October 30 at 10AM PST / 6 PM CET until November 20. At the Tower Raid or Bazaar hubs, players gather candy from vanquished zombies and give it to Baka. Both teams strive to win special charms as rewards, and reaching weekly goals unlocks weaponry with faction themes.
With re-appearing themed adversaries like Pumpkintiles, Witches, Scaregoons, Virals, and Biters, Villedor is decked out for Halloween. In Tower Raid, the Tower is overrun by opponents with a Halloween theme, complete with new layouts, decorations, and rooftop combat. Cursed Pirate and CyberRaider, a permanent Tower Raid character, are among the new characters that players can unlock. Additionally, the reward track has been updated to include Toxic and UV weapons as well as a new scoreboard for competitive play.
Halloween-themed community maps like Atomborne – Nightmare Hunter and The Sweetening Hour showcase players’ inventiveness, and starting on November 13, players can earn more candy for faction prizes thanks to special bounties on these and three other maps.
Halloween is about more than just candy; it’s also about getting dressed up. Thus, Techland offers a unique collection of Halloween Bundles. While the CyberRaider Bundle gives a futuristic urban ruin appearance to survive the craziness, the Volkan Bundle delivers experimental technology, such as a gravity-defying gun and other top-secret lab creations. You can purchase both packages from the in-game store.
