Season 5 details were released today by Marvel Games and NetEase Games: Marvel Rivals, the critically acclaimed and award-winning Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter, allows players to assemble an ever-evolving all-star squad of Super Heroes and Super Villains who battle with special powers across a dynamic lineup of destructible maps from across the Marvel Multiverse. Love is a Battlefield. On November 14, the thrilling fifth season will premiere, introducing Gambit as a playable hero. As Marvel Rivals commemorates its first anniversary, a new non-combat Times Square map will also be made available. New features, a new Conquest (Annihilation) mode, special events, several quality-of-life changes, and Team-Ups will all be included in Season 5.

Their ideal wedding was cut short by the Timestream Entanglement. Gambit has organized a honeymoon full of surprises for Rogue to make up for the interruption. Can their love withstand the ultimate cosmic test, though, when their voyage takes them to a realm created by the Elders of the Universe?
Gambit is a skilled strategist who creates a distinctive playstyle by combining kinetic energy management with his famous playing cards, nimble movement, and proficient fighting abilities. He can use his Chronovium-enhanced cards in combat to unlock kinetic shifting, which allows him to do damage by knocking back opponents and using anti-heal, heal allies, and remove negative effects. Gambit can channel energy into his staff when opponents charge in or teammates need assistance, employing agility and martial arts to neutralize threats. Gambit unleashes kinetic-charged aces at all surrounding friends when he activates his Ultimate Ability, enhancing their leap skills and giving their blows more explosive strength!
The Times Square map in New York will make its big debut in Season 5 of Marvel Rivals on November 14. It is a non-combat arena that can accommodate up to 100 players. Players can read books, watch videos, dance, hang around, and use their imaginations. The Marvel Rivals team wanted to provide everyone with a dedicated area for mingling, unwinding, and sharing great moments outside of battle after witnessing so many enjoyable, pleasant get-togethers in the Doom Match Sanctum Sanctorum map.
A thrilling new game called 18 vs. 18 Conquest (Annihilation), which promises epic mayhem and unforgettable pleasure, is also introduced in Season 5. It pits 36 players against one another in the brand-new Grand Garden environment. On November 27, this new mode will become operational. Additionally, starting in Season 5, a placing system will be implemented to Competitive mode; further information will be released soon. The cross-platform progression element of the game is also introduced in Season 5. The PvE mode, which was just released with Marvel Zombies, will continue to be developed, according to the Marvel Rivals team. There will be additional PvE content in 2026, and more information will be released soon. Lastly, a fresh set of ten costumes and MVPs will be added to the university student costume trial program for Season 5. By confirming their school email address, university students can get these benefits.
Marvel Rivals’ first anniversary is celebrated in Season 5, which is significant for the squad and all of our players. Players can participate in anniversary events following the November 27 update to receive 2,500 units and a complimentary Legendary Jeff costume. Additionally, a number of unique anniversary costumes will be available, ranging from Marvel Rivals-inspired ensembles to community-inspired ensembles and even costumes with a Cake Party theme.
In addition to the aforementioned, players may still access the most recent information via the Game Update, which includes complete Patch Notes and Hero Balance modifications.
