Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. announced that a playable Character Creator Demo for CODE VEIN II would be accessible on PC via Steam® on January 22, 2026, and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on January 23, 2026. Today also saw the release of a new walkthrough trailer that offers a closer look at the universe and plot of CODE VEIN II while showcasing Revenant Josée Anjou. CODE VEIN II, created by Bandai Namco Studios Inc., takes players on an epic narrative-driven adventure in which they can use time as a weapon, explore both the past and present iterations of a collapsing planet, and collaborate with others via the game’s dynamic Partner System.

Players can begin using the CODE VEIN II Character Creator Demo on January 22, 2026, ahead of the game’s release. The Character Creator Demo, which offers 64 save slots that transfer straight into the final game, lets players experience the game’s extensive customization system for Revenant Hunter, the main character. With a wide range of settings for body type, hairstyle, facial expressions, accessories, makeup, and more, players can perfectly customize their characters. Additionally, players can visit the MagMell Institute’s hot spring to see their characters in various lighting conditions and utilize Photo Mode to record and store their creations.
Set in a future where the last of humanity and Revenants fight against a world on the brink of collapse, CODE VEIN II is a complex story in which players and characters are tied by blood, fate, and destiny. The Undead Forest, the remote MagMell Island, the flooded remains of Sunken City, and other eerie post-apocalyptic settings will all be part of the player’s quest. As the narrative progresses, players will come across legendary heroes known as Revenants, whose fates are entwined with the survival of the world. Additionally, the game has unique gameplay for an action role-playing game. Players can use blood drained from enemies to unlock a variety of powerful talents, develop a fighting strategy using Blood codes, and defeat difficult opponents and epic bosses using special weapons and equipment known as Jails.
CODE VEIN II is slated for release on January 30, 2026, and is now available for pre-orders on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
