Public Test Build for Dead by Daylight’s New All-Kill: Comeback Chapter Now Live

The groundwork for a release unlike any other has been laid by Dead by Daylight. The Steam Public Test Build is currently accessible, and the official release date is March 17, 2026. With a content update centered on player requests and new features, All-Kill: Comeback brings the critically acclaimed horror multiplayer game back to the streets of South Korea. Along with some significant gameplay enhancements, it presents the much awaited and striking Trickster’s Delusion Map, a new Korean Survivor named Kwon Tae-young.

Dead By Daylight All-Kill Comeback Features:

Shifting the Spotlight

Instead of launching a brand-new Killer, All-Kill: Comeback purposefully turns its attention to enduring player input. Working once more with seasoned artist Kevin Woo, the release includes some significant enhancements to Dead by Daylight’s player experience along with fresh content that keeps the K-pop universe front and center. The team hopes to reaffirm that sometimes the greatest impact can come from honing what currently exists within The Entity’s Realm by giving priority to a long-requested Map and the improvement of other gameplay components.

Neon Nights

After the game’s lobby first hinted at the existence of an urban Korean-themed map, users have been demanding its inclusion since the release of Dead by Daylight’s original All-Kill Chapter in 2021. The Trickster’s Delusion Map makes its appearance in The Fog five years later. Dead by Daylight’s first entirely urban map is this gloomy, moody, neon-lit expanse. The new region, which was woven by The Entity from The Trickster’s tortured brain, has a marketplace, a two-story nightclub, and stores to peruse, with sporadic details that reflect the Killer’s unstable mental state.

New Survivor / New Spin

Kwon Tae-young has joined Dead by Daylight’s Survivors roster. Tae-young’s story, which takes place behind the scenes of the K-pop industry, is charming, intelligent, and subtly distant. He is employed by Mightee One Entertainment as a tech designer to spearhead the development of MiNA, a virtual idol made in the Trickster’s likeness. K-pop star and industry veteran Kevin Woo, who also returns to his role as consultant from 2021’s All-Kill, provides Tae-young with an in-game voice, giving the most recent game release more realism and nuance.

K-pop star and industry veteran Kevin Woo stated, “I had the great pleasure of working with the talented team at Dead By Daylight again for this second chapter of All-Kill. Consulting on the Korea and K-Pop inspired All-Kill world has been a fantastic experience. It was all the more exciting this round as I was involved in the building of the world, the characters, and even voicing the game’s latest Survivor, who I thought was a special character.”

The Trickster Update

In order to avoid being overshadowed, All-Kill: Comeback also has a targeted upgrade to The Trickster’s gameplay, improving his effect and playstyle to make him a competitive option in Dead by Daylight’s constantly changing environment. The update’s main component is the new Style Rank system, which encourages players to remix how they interact with the character and rewards ingenuity, aggression, and momentum as The Trickster gets closer to revealing his Main Event and a flurry of blades.

The game’s accessibility update for Scratchmark has been expanded with the addition of the new Aura Accessibility feature, which lets players alter the colors of the game’s numerous auras. In order to make perks descriptions easier to understand, they are also being streamlined and condensed by about 50%. Players will also be able to hover over a status in the description to view more information and details thanks to a new feature.

Dead by Daylight: All-Kill: Comeback is now available as part of the Steam public test build. It releases officially on March 17th 2026.
