Konami has released a new 22 minute game demo featuring multiplayer for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
Here is what game creator, Hideo Kojima, revealed:
Each player will have their own customizable Mother Base, which is an off-shore facility housing resources and can be upgraded using in-game currency.
“People who want to create a Mother Base in a very detailed way will be able to design it through the interface, or using their smart device.”
“I cannot talk too much, but for people who saw the presentation, it ends with your Mother Base being attacked. People can infiltrate you, and you can infiltrate other people’s Mother Base.”
