OSLO, Norway – June 12, 2015 — Developer Antagonist has announced that its third-person psychological horror game, Through the Woods is now fully funded on Kickstarter with a little more than two days remaining in the campaign.
Set on the coast of Norway, Through the Woods tells the story of the extremes a mother would go to in order to save her child. The narrative begins with the mother, Karen, who is being interrogated regarding the mysterious disappearance of her son. Gameplay starts as she recounts the terrible events surrounding this tragedy. The funding of this campaign would not have been possible without the assistance of fellow game developers Krillbite Studio and Snow Castle who both contributed in the final days and also attained funding for their own projects on Kickstarter.
“We started this Kickstarter campaign to deliver an innovative terrifying experience that breaks the tropes the horror genre has grown stagnant with,” Anders Hillestad, producer, Antagonist, explains. “Thanks to the support of gamers, Through the Woods will deliver a horrifying experience unlike anything available.”
