Free-to-play mobile games such as instant win games, slots, card games and bingo that appeal to lottery players
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – After completing initial consumer testing and feedback, Shoutz, Inc., an award-winning marketing, technology and gaming company, announces today the launch of its GameRail subsidiary, which offers a comprehensive, free-to-play social-lottery experience created to appeal to the 120 million adults that play U.S. lotteries.
GameRail features more than 50 free-to-play games based on popular themes found in lottery games, such as slots, card games, bingo and instant win games. The technology platform and many of the games, are powered by Blastworks Inc. (formerly GameHouse and a subsidiary of Gaming Realms plc), a leading social-gaming publisher and a strategic partner with GameRail.
“With GameRail, we are pioneering the social-lottery gaming sector by offering a collection of free-to-play interactive game themes, ranging from traditional lottery games like instant win, keno and bingo, to casinostyle games, such as slots and card games,” said Jim Mueller, CEO of Shoutz and a member of GameRail’s board of directors. Lottery players enjoy these games for social purposes like having fun or testing their luck. And GameRail builds on the traditional lotteries practice of offering lottery players a broad range of play styles and game themes to keep its players entertained and engaged.”
Additionally, GameRail is proud to announce an exclusive social gaming partnership with worldwide celebrity recording artist Pitbull, and the debut of the Pitbull Arcade as one of GameRail’s featured gaming attractions. The Pitbull Arcade features an exciting selection of casino-style games, offered in both English and Spanish, and designed to appeal to his millions of fans around the world.
“Mobile and social gaming is one of the highest growth categories on the web today,” said Mueller. “For example, social gaming generated more than $4 billion in revenue in the United States in 2015 and an average of 85 million people in the United States play a social, virtual currency game in some form at least once a month. While all players will find the content entertaining, we are focused on GameRail’s target market of the 120 million adults in the United States who play the lottery.”
GameRail is a cross-device gaming platform that can be used on any mobile phone or tablet with a connection to the web as well as computers through a browser. GameRail is now available via web browsers on computers and mobile web browsers on phones and tablets at www.gamerail.com. Later this year, GameRail will launch a mobile app that players can download from app stores.
GameRail generates revenue from player purchases of additional game plays by players and the sale of advertising on the GameRail platform, including in-game advertising. Additionally, reward points are acquired by players through the purchase of coin packs and redeemed for gift cards from a large selection of well-known national retailers.
