SAN FRANCISCO – Ubisoft announced the release of two 24″ x 36″ limited edition prints created by famed illustrator and designer Ken Taylor (@kentaylorart) and inspired by Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. The premium screen prints will only be sold in a limited run of 150 units at Hero Complex Gallery for $55. Taylor’s brand-new work for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands features his distinct aesthetic mixed with the definitive Ghost Recon style and highlights the Santa Blanca Cartel, Ghost team and Ghost Recon Wildland’s Bolivian setting. The limited-run prints will only be available through Hero Complex, a Los Angeles–based art gallery that specializes in contemporary and pop art–themed shows featuring a wide variety of art by established and emerging artists.
In addition to the high-quality individual prints, Taylor’s artwork will be featured on the SteelBook case for the Amazon-exclusive Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands: War Within the Cartel bundle which includes the Gold Edition version with a season pass subscription and a 10.5″ figurine of the Santa Muerte character.
While Taylor is primarily known for album artwork and band posters, over the past few years he has become very well known for his limited edition silkscreened movie and game posters, working on some of the world’s biggest movie and video game licenses. The two limited edition prints inspired by Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands are part of a larger collection of six 12″ x 18″ images Taylor created that are only available in the Uplay Collector’s Edition Deluxe and Collector’s Edition Gold versions of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands.
Fans looking to get a closer look at Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands and the Santa Blanca Cartel can watch Ubisoft’s live-action promotional content, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands: War Within the Cartel, available now on demand via Amazon Prime Video. The film takes viewers inside the inner workings of the Santa Blanca drug cartel, which is controlled by the revered yet ruthless leader, El Sueño. In the aftermath of an attack on their compound, the organization’s senior leadership (Head of Security, El Muro; Head of Production, El Yayo; Head of Trafficking, Nidia Flores and Head of Influence, El Cardenal) seeks out a traitor within their midst to exact deadly retribution. The action-packed story culminates in the events leading up to the beginning of the game as an elite special operations unit, the Ghosts, is called in to dismantle the cartel.
In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, players will discover a fictionalized future Bolivia, a few years from now, in which players must take down the Santa Blanca drug cartel by any means necessary. Behind enemy lines, they will hunt down targets and discover intel, using any of the more than 60 vehicles available including cars, motorcycles and even helicopters that they can commandeer. To topple the cartel, players will have to fight their way to El Sueño, Santa Blanca’s ruthless leader, by breaking down the Santa Blanca Cartel’s operation piece by piece as they sever alliances between the drug lords and the corrupted government.
Developed by Ubisoft Paris,* Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is now available for current-gen consoles and PC.
