I had the pleasure of visiting the Dual Universe Booth at PAX West 2017. Here are my brief impressions.
Dual Universe is an ambitious title coming from crowdfunded developer Novaquark. It’s a single shard sandbox MMO that allows players to build spaceships and buildings, as well as manipulate terrain. Players can team up to control entire spaceships or dig to the center of the planet. It will also run on an in-house, dedicated server built specifically for the game. Early access to a pre-alpha build will be available to contributors on September 30. When the game does launch it will be available to download for free with monthly subscriptions. However, players who are actively contributing to the community will be able to play for free.

I was born and raised in a town so small there were more cows than people. I joined the USAF as soon as I could, and I currently reside in San Antonio. I am a singer/songwriter on the side, but I've been a gamer since birth. I grew up with PlayStation and Nintendo, though, I don't discriminate between consoles and PC. I have a PC with a 3080, Steam Deck, and a PS5.
