Crytek has released the first Performance Patch for Hunt: Showdown after having first released on the Hunt Test Server. The patch is focused on CPU optimizations, reducing the game’s overall memory footprint, and addressing stalls and stutters occurring during movement, ADS, and other in-game interactions.
All of these changes should increase the general smoothness and response of the game, as well as, in some cases, overall framerate—particularly on lower spec machines. In addition, this patch addresses the missing vegetation issue at the start of the game.
Additional information about the Performance Patch (including answers to the community’s most frequently asked questions) is available in the video interview with Chris Auty and Sébastien Laurent from the Hunt team and Theodor Mader from the CRYENGINE team.
