Wiesbaden – Assemble Entertainment and Solar Powered Games are jointly planning the release of Highrisers for the second quarter of 2019.
After Solar Powered Games had already financed the retro-look survival RPG in 2016 through a successful kickstarter campaign, they went in search of a publishing partner in 2017 and found it at Assemble Entertainment.
Studio founder Markus Grupp of Solar Powered Games is convinced:
“We are happy to have found in Assemble Entertainment an experienced publishing team that fully supports the product. This allows us to fully concentrate on the completion of Highrisers”.
Assemble’s founder and CEO Stefan Marcinek adds,
“We at Assemble are convinced that with Solar Powered Games we have gained a valuable partner and with Highrisers a great product for 2019, we are all very much looking forward to the forthcoming cooperation”.
Highrisers is a rogue-like survival RPG in which the player leads a team of four survivors with individual abilities through an apocalyptic, abandoned metropolis.
Exploration, research and crafting dominate the gameplay during the day. At night, the shady “Dreamer” – people infected and mutated by a mysterious disease – emerge from the dark street canyons, and the focus shifts to combat, siege and stealth.
Highrisers is scheduled to be released on Steam and other digital platforms in the 2nd quarter of 2019.
