Albion’s second year was a definitive one for the game, primarily due to its transition to Free-to-Play on April 10, 2019. The game also introduced major new gameplay features, including Faction Warfare, Crystal Realm Battles, and Randomized Dungeons, among others.
To celebrate the occasion, the developers have announced a week-long Fame Boost, as well as the official launch of the award-winning Albion Online Soundtrack:
- The Fame Boost runs until July 24, and grants an extra 25% Fame for all open-world activities. Players with accounts created prior to July 17 will also receive free gift items over the course of the week, and ingame cities have been decked out with special festive decorations.
- The Albion Online Soundtrack, written by celebrated composer Jonne Valtonen and recorded by Prague’s FILMharmonic Orchestra, is now available on all major digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon.
