Berlin, March 27, 2018 – Sandbox Interactive today announced their Sandbox MMORPG, Albion Online, will soon also be available on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux/SteamOS. The developers not only want to reach players who have never heard of the game, but also to welcome MMORPG players who have been waiting for Albion Online to come to the popular digital distribution platform.
“Albion Online has been coming along nicely in the past months, and the Lancelot content update has been especially well-received by our community. We think this is the right time to open the game up to the broader Steam audience,” says Robin Henkys, Sandbox Interactive’s Game Director. “New players will not only make the world of Albion Online more populated and vivid, but also allow for new economic opportunities, more PVP matches, and new social connections.”
Sandbox Interactive will announce the exact Steam release date shortly.
