A new content update will expand the world of the MMORPG for the players of the final beta
Berlin – German developer Sandbox Interactive announces that the latest content update, Faye, for their upcoming sandbox MMORPG Albion Online is available now. Albion Online is currently in the final beta phase, with over 170.000 founders playing. Faye is a major update, delivering new features and content to players, in addition to improvements and bugfixes.
With the forest biome, Albion Online sees its fifth biome introduced to the game, further expanding the versatility of the world. Like in the other biomes, the Forest comes with its unique setup of resources, wildlife and creatures. In a rich forest landscape, players will encounter living, walking trees, the Forest Spirits, and will have to deal with the Keepers of Albion if they want to harvest the resources in the new woodlands.
All over Albion, guard towers have now been erected, protecting cities from evildoers – a huge help or obstacle for characters, depending on which side of the law they are on. Players can also look forward to the reintroduction of the yellow/red zones for the Guild vs Guild play. This adds Guild Warfare to two zones in which PvP isn’t quite as tough as the unrestricted, no-holds-barred black zones. Everyone can now also benefit from mounts now staying close to the player after dismounting them.
Players who want the already visceral atmosphere of the game to become even stronger will love the 19 tracks of uniquely-composed background music as well as the all-new emotes added with Faye. Salute, applaud or mock other players with an emote – or simply have a little dance. Faye goes online today with these and many more updates and is available to all players of Albion Online.
