Just a few days ago, Indie developer Still Games announced that Animal Gods has reached its Kickstarter funding goal.
Now, the developer announced that the Animal Gods webstore is open.
November 12, 2014 – Sheperdstown, West Virginia, USA – Still Games, developer of Animal Gods, now funded, would like to thank all the groups, Tweeps, backers and press that supported the campaign to help reach its funding target. Now the Kickstarter has finished, you can still support the game via the Animal Gods webstore, complete with some incredible backer rewards!

Thank you to everyone who backed us, tweeted us, helped us, and supported us throughout the initial funding period,” said Kara Myren, Lead Programmer for Animal Gods. “We’re very lucky to have so many people come together around Animal Gods, and now it’s time to continue working full-time on this game — so stay tuned, Animal Gods will soon be born! If you’ve not already pledged, we’re thrilled to have opened our webstore, to continue funding and to help reach further stretch goals.”
Inspired by the likes of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Still Games’ Animal Gods tells the story of the rise of an unlikely hero, trying to save the world and free the Animal Gods. In the game, players explore the ancient roots of European history, featuring massive 2D side-scrolling battles in the wonderfully colorful & beautifully ravaged setting of ancient Europe.
