ANTIHERO Releases Powder House Update

ANTIHERO Releases Powder House Update

Developer Tim Conkling and publisher Versus Evil announced that Antihero has received a new update. The “Powder House” is a new infiltratable building that can appear on all multiplayer and AI skirmish maps. A level 1, Powder House will give you a discount to Saboteur recruitment, similar to the Orphanage and Strangefellows Lodge. At level 2, the Powder House upgrades the Saboteur’s traps, causing them to steal a Lantern, rather than a Coin, from any opponent unlucky enough to stumble into one.

Additionally, each multiplayer map’s building distribution has been changed – when a Powder House appears on a map, it takes the slot of a building that otherwise would’ve been there. You can no longer count on a fixed set of buildings appearing on a given map, which shakes things up further.

Antihero Powder House Changes:

  • (New) “The Powder House” building type
  • (New) Changed building distribution on all multiplayer/skirmish maps
  • (UI) The “Attack?” action prompt now shows a skull icon when the attack will kill the target, and a sword icon when it will wound them.
  • (Fix) Display the proper bribe number in the “Bribe Acquired!” animation
  • (Fix) Fix a rare “Misfortune!” error that could occur when closing the Live Match dialog.

Antihero is now available to download on the App Store and Google Play. The game is also available on PC from all good digital retailers including www.versusevil.com, the Twitch Store, Steam, Green Man Gaming, and Gamer’s Gate. The game is discounted by 33% ($10.04) on Steam until March 22.
