Respawn’s Apex Legends has been one of the top games players have been playing and streaming around the world and has a growing player base. Apex Legends brought out a new update that adds a new hero and new modes to the game. Respawn provided a preview event into the world of Apex Legends a few days ago before the update and we tried it out.
Valkyrie is a new legend that is added, which brings a lot of dynamics to the gameplay as the character has jetpacks that allows the player to stay airborne for a certain amount of time and provide an aerial view of the map. In addition, the player can use missiles to target enemies from the skies. Definitely a welcome change to the game, that allows the player to definitely change the strategy moving forward.
Another big change for Apex Legends includes a new mode called Arena that is 3v3 battle that is great for playing through quicker match making and will need teams to win at least 3 matches. Each round starts with players having base weapons and materials that can be utilized to upgrade the weapons and additional supplies. This brings a strategic gameplay for players to utilize the materials.
An addition to the previously mentioned two changes is that there are updates to the Olympus map, a new weapon, and a new battle pass called Legacy Battle Pass. Legacy Battle Pass adds new unique rewards to the players who have the pass.
We are looking forward to how players are going to utilize Apex Legends’ new hero, game mode, and changes to their advantage and it has been certainly a great experience with the new update itself.
