April Updates for World of Warships and World of Warships: Legends Feature New Ships and Submarines

With two exciting updates for World of Warships (see trailer HERE) and World of Warships: Legends (see trailer HERE), Wargaming, the creator and publisher of the popular cross-platform naval multiplayer game, is cruising into spring. For PC gamers, World of Warships contains a new Efficiency Badges system, a limited-time fight type with a respawn mechanic, and two cruisers ready to be built in the Dockyard. The popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles partnership, a new PvE game mode called War Tales, and a Marathon to obtain the German cruiser Hindenburg are all part of World of Warships: Legends’ console release for April.

In World of Warships, new badges and cruisers in construction

The main attraction A new Dockyard with two ships up for grabs is the April update for PC players. The German Tier IX Premium heavy cruiser Blücher is awaiting completion of 20 phases of development. This ship is known for its extremely precise shots and armor-piercing shells with flat ballistics, enhanced penetration, and improved ricochet angles. Players will also be able to access the Commonwealth light cruiser Gambia, a Tier VII ship with a short burst smoke generator and high explosive shells, after completing the first eight Dockyard phases.

Efficiency Badges, which can be obtained by winning Random Battles, allow players who are confident in their naval warfare tactics to demonstrate their abilities. A player receives one of four tiers of Efficiency Badges to show on the ships in their profile summary after each battle, which is determined by comparing their basic experience points with the recent average performance of players worldwide. Ships will only show their highest-ranking insignia as players advance in rank, moving from third grade to expert.

Unbreakable Line, a temporary conflict type that embraces a respawning feature, is finally making its way into World of Warships. Action-packed 7 vs. 7 clashes between Tier VIII-IX battleships, cruisers, and destroyers are available until May 15. Teams must sink opposing vessels and win capture points in a race to reach 1,000 points. However, sinking these ships is insufficient because they will immediately resurrect with their armaments reloaded and engage in combat.

World of Warships Legends introduces a new game mode and turtle mayhem.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are surfing into World of Warships: Legends as part of the April update. Players can enter combat wearing their favorite character thanks to new skins and customized Commander guises. Players in need of fresh cosmetics can also get limited-edition Pizza Time crates to commemorate the crossover. One may be obtained by completing the new Turtle Power! Mission, and the other can be obtained by fighting through the Dragon’s Voyage campaign during the update. Both are free.

With War Tales, a brand-new PvE game mode that involves teams of three to five players cooperating to achieve predetermined goals using ships ranging from Tier III ships upward, April is also delivering new gameplay options. To start, there will be three War Tales available, each with a distinct objective, such guarding an allied ship or securing a control point. Effective communication and sound teamwork will be essential to winning.

The Hindenburg Marathon, which offers the German Legendary Tier cruiser Hindenburg as the primary reward, completes the April update for gamers looking for new ships to wreck havoc with. Players will need to put in a lot of effort over the course of three updates in order to amass Ship Parts, a unique currency. These can be obtained by playing the main campaign, performing weekly assignments, earning bonuses through store purchases, or completing other tasks.
