Along with Outright Games, the industry leader in family-friendly interactive entertainment publishing, Mattel, Inc., a leading global toy and family entertainment company with one of the most recognizable brand portfolios in the world, has unveiled the details of its next game, Barbie Project Friendship. In keeping with the current Barbie 65th anniversary celebration, this endearing adventure game will take players on a trip filled with friendship. The Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store will all be able to play Barbie Project Friendship starting on October 25.

With the help of friends and family, follow the dynamic duo Barbie “Malibu” and Barbie “Brooklyn” Roberts as they go on a mission to restore the dilapidated Malibu Waves Community Center to its former glory. Unlock amazing clothes, discover new sections of the community center, and engage in enjoyable activities with well-known people like Ken and Nikki customizing scooters, Teresa remodeling the arcade, and Ken creating ice cream.
Head writer Ann Austen, who has produced and developed multiple Barbie animated series and specials, including the beloved hit series Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures and Barbie A Touch of Magic, which serve as the setting for Barbie Project Friendship, provided support for the creation of the game. With the original English voice cast from the TV show, fans and kids can enjoy the main adventure of the game alone or invite their real-life closest friend to play a bunch of mini-games in two-player local cooperative mode.
