Even though Battlefield 3 is over a year old, it produces over 1 TB of data daily! EA follows many gaming titles and has tracked Battlefield 3 as having 3.9 million grenades thrown every 15 minutes; players destroy 648,000 vehicles as well as 24 million explosions. EA’s Taneja said that the company will soon need to track 2 billion gamers across all platforms, instead of “only” 200 million console users.
