As part of the Cozy Quest 2025 exhibition, Hooded Horse and Balancing Monkey Games are happy to announce the release of a new trailer for their upcoming sci-fi city builder, Beyond These Stars. Excited Peeps can set out on a journey upon Kewa’s back in 2026 with an updated demo to get everyone through.

Since launching its demo at June Next Fest in 2024, Beyond These Stars has advanced significantly. Earlier this year, it was able to present some thrilling late-game material at Gamescom. The team believed that a revised demo would help customers wait until the complete release was ready because of how much has changed this year.
Beyond These Stars Key Changes:
- If players don’t keep an eye on the trash, there will be new pollution mechanics involving “toxic tiles.”
- A completely redesigned user interface with additional overlays and resource flow tracking
- A new tech tree with benefits
- Both the tutorial and the overall plot have been improved
- Peeps now have a new “exhaustion” mechanism and work in shifts; if they become very fatigued, blunders will occur.
- Numerous modifications have been made to the way buildings operate, including altered nearby impacts, work radius on accommodations, and more!
Beyond These Stars is slated to release in 2026 via early access for PC on Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
