Through a livestream today, the development team for Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) unveiled new items based on the Disney+ series Andor, along with a ton of quality-of-life improvements that will be included in Game Update 7.7.1, “Flashpoint Resurgence.” Now more than ever, starting your journey in a galaxy far, far away is simple!
Late August is when the SWTOR Game Update 7.7.1 is expected to be released. Here are the key features:

Galactic Season 9 Begins – “Flashpoint Resurgence”: Launching at 7.7.1, Galactic Season 9 will last for 26 weeks. Once again, Kai Zykken wants your assistance to test a new edition of Czerka Combat Enhancers. When entering Flashpoints, these new enhancers can be employed to grant two additional buffs.

Galactic Season 9 Rewards: Claim five horses, the Commandant’s and Ascendant Admiral Armor Sets, new titles, and themed and foldable weaponry.

Modernization of Character Creation and Design: The character select screen now has better lighting and a new Depth of Field update that keeps the player character front and center as part of continuous efforts to update many aspects of the game. Additionally, hundreds of new hair and montreal color possibilities have been added for Cathar, Chiss, Cyborg, Human, Miraluka, Mirialan, Togruta, and Zabraks. Additionally, Rattataki now has the facial definition and texture smoothing that was introduced in Game Update 7.7.

Andor-themed Items: In 7.7.1, an Imperial Scout Mount and a new hairstyle modification, headpiece, and ensemble based on the Disney+ series Andor will be available in the Cartel Market. Additionally, a special Andor-inspired companion customization reward will be available for companion droids 2V-R8 and C2-N2, which may be obtained by using a time-limited log-in reward cash.

Quality-of-Life Improvements, Including for F2P: This update will allow F2P/Preferred players to use Legacy titles, gain Rest XP, use the Hide Head slot, obtain the first Cargo Bay for free, access all quickbars, withdraw more credits from Escrow when using Cartel Coins, and access companion customizations.

Coming Soon… The Next Story Arc: The developers are putting a lot of effort into finishing up new narratives so that gamers can experience them as soon as feasible. Targeted for Game Update 7.8, “Galactic Threads” will be followed by “Master’s Enigma” in 7.8.1.
