Black Desert Console Now Lets You Descend into Nova’s Awakening and Succession

Pearl Abyss has updated Black Desert for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 today with new character Nova’s Awakening and Succession skills. These skills completely change how the new class plays and make her even stronger! Awakening gives Nova a new weapon, Sting, created from the thorn of Quturan and the distorted goddess’ power. Sting can take the form of a sword or scythe.

With Succession, Nova continues to make the most of her Morning Star and Quoratum to deliver heavy blows to her foes in a balanced combat style.  Succession grants Nova control of Axian, the King of the Dead. Axian can be summoned by sacrificing Nova’s Thornwood Guards and portions of her own HP.

Nova’s Succession skills:

• Prime: King of the Dead summons Axian, the King of the Dead, by sacrificing Nova’s HP and her Thornwood guards.
• Prime: Entangling Icy Thorns creates a ring of icy thorns to ensnare Nova’s foes, with  Axian emerging to attack the trapped enemies.
• Prime: Fianchetto rips the morning star up from the ground to launch enemies into the air, with Axian following up with attacks on them.
• Prime: Icy Prison commands Axian to unleash cold destruction upon her foes.

Nova’s Awakening skills:

• Royal Fencing: Remise skewers opponents with quick thrusts of her new weapon, Sting.
• Comet charges Sting forward, directly attacking an enemy.
• Starfall creates blades of light that catapult forward like a sharp, heavenly rain.
• Star’s Ring summons a star by turning Sting into a scythe before swinging and hurling it, trapping and crushing foes within its gravity.
