Developer Gearbox announced at this year’s PAX Australia that a new DLC, ‘Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2,’ will be arriving this Fall for Borderlands 2.
The new pack will not be a part of the Season Pass and will feature the following:
- 11 levels
- A new map, ‘The Digistruct Peak Challenege’
- The ability to change the game difficulty outside the character’s level, and
- A new level cap of 72
Gearbox President, Randy Pitchford, announced that the developer is planning two or three Headhunter Packs, beginning this Fall with T.K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest, which comes with another new mission and the ability to fight T.K. Baha from The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned.
In addition, there will be a battle with the giant pumpkin boss, Jacques O’Lantern. Once a player defeats him, new customization options will become available.
Future packs will include:
- Extra bank slots
- The ability to carry more ammo, (more free of charge)
- Extra heads for the latest DLC, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep
For those of you who are interested, the Gearbox Community Day will be held September 14 in which events will be livestreamed, and a code for new heads and skins will be released.
