SAN FRANCISCO, EUROPE, ANZ AND SOUTHEAST ASIA – gumi Inc. has announced real-time Player vs Player (PvP) combat and an entirely new Arena Mode within Brave Frontier: The Last Summoner. Its latest mobile strategy JRPG, the game is available globally for iOS and Android devices, and available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The grand opening of the Brave Frontier Arena offers players the chance to fight each other for the first time in strategic, real-time PvP. Few games offer as much team customization as in Brave Frontier: The Last Summoner, especially based on units synergies: several units sharing the same skills will make the skill stronger. Players can customize armies of up to 25 units. This army gameplay style offers quick and intense battles, along with deeper strategy opportunities.
The Arena Mode contains six leagues, one leaderboard and 60 new weapons designed for PvP. Additionally, the new mode will feature collaboration units from Brave Frontier, like recently released Elza and Alice.
Finally, the new Arena Mode doesn’t use the stamina system, contrary to other RPG’s in the market. Players can play PVP as much as they’d like to increase Ranking status in the Ladder.
Players can discover the backstory of this new area in Brave Frontier: The Last Summoner:
Vask is a world inspired by Viking culture up through 18th century. The main power is an empire that forbids the use of magic and has tracked the legendary summoners for centuries. Teelandia, one of the seven regions of the Empire, is the start of the adventure and the main harvesting site of the energy crystals that are used to power all technology. This is where players will meet Lucy and Brook, our two heroes of Season 1. Their destinies are interlaced, and together, they will assemble the people of Vask, find the origins of the magic and break the chains of the Empire.
Brave Frontier: The Last Summoner is available via the App Store and Google Play.
