If I had to describe this game in one word, I would say that Broken Mind, by developer 2Bad Games and publisher Tony DE LUCIA, is ‘simple,’ not in a wrong way but in a very positive way. The story is straight forward, but the plot is really well portrayed with twists and thrills. To imagine this game was made single-handedly is not an easy task that everybody can do. I played in Normal mode out of four modes (Narrative, Easy, Normal, Hard). The protagonist, Frank Morgan, had some character development through his daughter Emily and his wife Alyssa. Frank also had a good friend who was also his partner, Miller. Frank worked as a Detective and in this plot, Frank worked on an abduction case of Laura Palmer.
Laura gets abducted by a gang member who breaks into her home and kidnaps her. The kidnapping is done for organ transplant and there is a big organ trafficking activity going on in the city. Frank gets the news and goes to the investigation site, he finds that Laura is kidnapped by a man in the mask. Frank also faces some traumatic instances and has sights of demon-like bodies, which fight Frank; he also has some sights of her wife and daughter. He faces the trauma in his head while fighting the demon.
There are some creative puzzles in the game, which are very straightforward – they are all different. I felt like Broken Mind could use a few more puzzles per chapter. There are 10 chapters, each with different lengths and different environments. The story length is shorter than I felt, I think it should have more chapters with more story twists. The ending was a little vague and could use a little more context.
The soundtrack was amazing, the music choice was on point, and I loved the change of music and sound with different environments and scenes. I was a little disappointed with the graphics, there was very little to no 3D model, and all the characters and models were also 2D. The detailing was also very poorly done in my opinion. I would have liked this game better if there were better graphics and 3D models.
The world was big enough for the story and it was also really amazing, but not interactive enough. I feel that more interaction would have made the world more alive. This would be a much better game for my taste had the developer taken some more time to add more details to the models and characters and also some minor interactive quirks and features.

I love single player story mode games with beautiful open worlds. Games like Red Dead Redemption, GTA series, Uncharted series, Far Cry series, Assassin's Creed series, etc., are some of the best games I have ever played. I love to play a game that has immersive worlds to explore and interesting story line.
