R2Games teams up with Bruce Lee, LLC to bring late martial arts master to popular MOBA
Bruce Lee, the inspiration for many popular MOBA characters and the godfather of the kung-fu film genre, is making his official debut as a playable character in the hit PC and mobile game Heroes Evolved. Publisher R2Games is excited to announce that they have exclusively teamed up with Bruce Lee, LLC (owned and operated by Bruce Lee’s daughter, Shannon Lee) to bring Master Lee to the world of multiplayer online battle arenas.
Alongside Bruce’s addition to the game, R2Games will be hosting in-game and community events to promote this exciting moment in MOBA history.
“We are very proud to be the first to officially bring Bruce Lee to the world of MOBA games,” says Yumin Wang, R2Games’ Global Publishing Director. “We’re longtime fans and can’t wait to pit all our other heroes against the world-renowned Bruce Lee!”
Huge fans of Lee, R2Games worked closely with the Lee family and a real martial artist to create an accurate likeness via motion capture technology. Lee’s in-game skills will be based on some of his most famous films, such as Enter the Dragon and The Green Hornet.
Heroes Evolved is a 5v5 online arena game, in which players assume the role of a powerful hero, and work together as a team to destroy the opposing base. Gameplay is fast paced, tactical, and, above all, very fun. It appeals to both casual and hardcore gamers, offering multiple modes with a focus ranging from serious tournaments to just-for-laughs brawls.
