Infestation World will host an open beta for Windows users from Monday, March 28 through Thursday, March 31, 2016. The official global release will follow in April.
Gamers who wish to register for a chance to join the open beta can do so here.
Players can bring the gear they earn from Infestation World‘s traditional open-world component into the all-new competitive Battle Mode. Teams of survivors can face off in Battle Mode’s Time Attack, a frantic shootout to prove to be the most lethal, or Team Deathmatch, a classic, tense gametype that rewards victory to the last team standing. Aside from bragging rights, winning a match will net players in-game prizes.
A new massive competitive multiplayer mode called War System will debut later this year. In War System clans will have to deploy coordinated strategies across their entire team while fighting to dominate a central control point.
Battle Mode’s most dangerous players will compete in regionals leading to the Infestation World Championships, which will be hosted in Thailand in Q3 2016. The tournament’s prize pool will be funded through optional purchases made by players through Infestation World‘s in-game store.
