Aardman, the multi-award-winning independent animation studio behind Chicken Run and Wallace & Gromit, and Outright Games, the top publisher of family-friendly interactive entertainment, today revealed that their new game, Chicken Run: Eggstraction, will be included in Steam Next Fest this fall along with new gameplay videos. There are riddles to solve and feathers to ruffle in Chicken Run: Eggstraction, which will be available for preview on Steam from October 13–20 before the game’s worldwide release on October 24.
The first six levels of Chicken Run: Eggstraction will be available to franchise fans one week prior to the game’s October release. Step into the world of Frizzle, Molly, Fowler, and more to explore their unique skills and leadership powers when they take charge. Players can test the two-player local cooperative gameplay and explore high-security areas with other players in this game demo. Use shrubs to hide the chickens, make audacious rocket jumps, and even toss another member of their team to move stealthily and launch their attack!
Fans worldwide are invited to eggs-experience this brand-new, feathery story, which is a direct sequel to Aardman’s 2023 smash hit Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, which is accessible on Netflix. Listen to the amazing voices of British celebrities Romesh Ranganathan, Bella Ramsey, Josie Sedgwick-Davies, and Amelia Dimoldenberg. The goal of Chicken Run: Eggstraction, written by renowned screenwriter Larry Rickard (Ghosts, Horrible Histories), is to save chickenkind while bringing that iconic Aardman charm to life!
