Chivalry 2 Regicide Update Key Features:
- New Map – Regicide at Trayan Citadel: The Masons are about to face off against the Agathian army in a clash. With the objective of capturing the outer encampment and escorting “The Lion’s Thrust” ram to smash the front gates, the attacking Agathian army launches the combat outside the walls. After entering the citadel, warriors will engage in combat through its hallways until they reach Malrick Castle, when King Malric himself enters the fray. Even while the bard’s stories about the volcanic mysteries of the citadels distort the facts slightly, the map will nevertheless provide players with moments of dramatic, cinematic action throughout.
- New Weapon – Goedendag: The Goedendag is a polearm with special qualities that allow it to carve out a place for itself and be used by the Poleman and Engineer Footman classes. With a unique weapon head that can provide piercing damage when driven into foes and dull damage with swings and above attacks, the weapon trades the conventional longer reach of polearms for adaptability. Furthermore, well-timed special assaults have the ability to stop horses in their tracks and do massive damage to them.
- A Regicide Campaign Pass: Similar to conventional battle passes, in-game prizes like as cash and armory goods are awarded to players who successfully complete challenges. The Regicide Campaign Pass, in contrast to conventional battle passes, has no expiration date and allows the player to advance at their own speed. To earn more rewards, players can purchase 1,000 in-game crowns to upgrade to the Premium Campaign Pass.
- New Character and Weapon Customizations: Discover a range of fresh aesthetic choices, such as five new weapons, a new helmet, four new armor sets, and more!
- Extra Bug Fixes, Performance Enhancements, and Quality of Life Upgrades
A multiplayer first-person slasher game, Chivalry 2 is modeled around famous medieval film conflicts. Every famous historical event, including massive castle sieges, clashing swords, and clouds of blazing arrows, is immediately brought to life for players. In the reintroduction of Team Objective maps, players can once again take control of enormous battlegrounds while catapults rip through the ground and players besiege castles, set villages on fire, and massacre dirty peasants.
With an ESRB rating of M for Mature and a PEGI 18 rating, Chivalry 2 has an MSRP of $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 for the Standard Edition, $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 for the Special Edition, and $59.99 for the Chivalry 2: King’s Edition.
