City of Brass is a game by the BioShock veterans at Uppercut Games. In the amazing world of City of Brass you get to play in 1st person mode as you try and make it out of the city.
Premise:
The game is straight forward in your goal, that you are walking around or more like running around the city desperately trying to find your way. As you attempt to take as much treasure as you can while fighting off endless amount of enemies.
Gameplay:
There are multiple characters to choose from each with their own skill set.
Choosing your character is very important, you want to find someone who matches your gameplay style to increase your chances of success. Throughout the game you will face many challenges. Some will be foes that you must vanquish or face death.
Others will be avoiding traps as you work your way through the city,
and, of course, looting treasure along the way.
City of Brass is an exciting, action-packed, think-on-you-toes kind of game. Each time you retry a level everything has moved around so that the same power ups, traps, or even foes are never in the same place twice. At times your foes are so many that you can’t run away, and it’s times like these that using your wits is key.
A combination of your whip and a little push can go along way. Make sure to have the sound on that the sound design in this game comes in very handy. Different sounds will let you know of an approaching enemies or a traps that has be triggered.
Conclusion:
City of Brass is a must have! It will keep you playing for hours and hours, I know this for a fact. One tip – it may seem like each time you die you get sent back to the very first level but once you hit certain checkpoints, it will allow you to pick up after your last boss fight.
So, if you haven’t already, go get your copy of City of Brass today.
