Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Releases New Behind the Music Video Featuring the Creation of the Original Soundtrack

A brand-new featurette detailing the production of the original soundtrack for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the highly anticipated Reactive Turn-Based role-playing game that will launch on April 24, 2025, on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S (available on the first day with Xbox Game Pass), and PC via Steam was unveiled today by independent video game developer Sandfall Interactive and games publisher Kepler Interactive.

In the new video, Lorien Testard, the game’s composer, talks about how he was drawn to video game soundtracks from an early age and how his vision and talent were incorporated into the fantasy world of Expedition 33 through his poignant and evocative score. An interview with Alice Duport-Percier, the game’s singer and vocal composer, is also included in the documentary. She provides further details about her creative process and the steps she took to make Expedition 33’s music come to life.
