Remedy Entertainment is making a welcome return to story-driven cinematic gameplay with Control, a supernatural third-person action-adventure shooter inspired by a New Brutalist New York City skyscraper.
To shed light on this upcoming New York mystery, Remedy’s Creative Director Sam Lake (Alan Wake, Max Payne) took to stage with Bleeding Cool’s Head Games Writer Madeline Ricchiuto to dive into the new weird and explore the creation of Control with the main cast of the game at this year’s New York Comic Con. Panel attendees were treated to an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how the cast works with Remedy to bring characters to life through a mix of motion-capture and voiceover acting.
The video recaps the panel footage, which brings a talented cast of actors together including Remedy’s first-ever female lead Courtney Hope (Jesse Faden in Control), Matthew Porretta (Dr. Darling in Control) and James McCaffrey (Zachariah Trech in Control).
Control will be published by 505 Games in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
