COOK, SERVE, DELICIOUS! 2!! by Vertigo Gaming Inc., should be renamed Anxiety Simulator 2 because there is so much going on that it really makes you never want to work in the food industry ever again. Or ever start. Its setting is accurate and more detailed than any other restaurant simulators I’ve played in the past – they get it right down to the point you have to refill the soda machine. Neet.
COOK, SERVE, DELICIOUS! 2!! is a fast-paced game and includes a short summary of how you came to work in a restaurant. Just when you think you’ve got one menu down you think you got this game in the bag. SIKE.
THERE’S MORE!
As you level up you unlock more restaurants you can work in, which means more recipes to remember. The game makes you do a hand full of tasks, which is pretty accurate in a fast food environment; you have to clean, wash dishes, prepare meals, throw out the trash, beat up any robbers who come into your establishment without any repercussions whatsoever, put out fires, you know – the usual. However, I would definitely ask for a raise since you have to go to such lengths whilst being in the middle of a lunch rush and having to throw down against a hobo while preparing like 5 sundaes. Just ask for a raise, my dude. You’ll be happier.
COOK, SERVE, DELICIOUS! 2!! has you messing up orders on your very first run through but it gets easier as you play more and start to memorize the orders. There isn’t much room for error and gets so chaotic and challenging as you unlock more levels. You’ll start to mash on your controller and question why you’re raging at a plate of nachos you messed up. The game mechanics might seem overwhelming at first but that’s what the tutorials are for. They go into great detail explaining the gameplay while also having extremely funny dialogue to go along as you level up, I would check your emails frequently because there are some good hidden gems in there. The music is great, there are more recipes than in the first game, the food looks delicious and will make you crave it and not only do you get to customize your restaurant, you also have the option of having someone plug in a controller for player 2. If you think you can handle working side by side with your best friend in a mock restaurant simulator I welcome you to try and test out the duality of your friendship because you’ve got another thing coming if you think you’ll do better with an extra set of hands. COOK, SERVE, DELICIOUS! 2!! does get repetitive after a while, but it is a simulator game, after all, still, it is a great fun game to add to your library.
The only thing I had a problem getting used to was the PS4 controls – I found it kind of difficult to switch to ingredients while using the triggers, I did get better at using them but overall they still felt kind of awkward to use. Overall I give this game a solid 9/10.

PlayStation 4 Review
Hello there, I got into video games at a very young age and my first console was actually the Super Nintendo, I still have it to this day and have quite a collection of games for it. I play a lot of games ranging from different genres like fighting games, i.e Tekken and Street Fighter, RPG's i.e Dark Souls and Final Fantasy, side-scrollers, visual novels, MMO's, Shooters, and Horror. The more violent and story drove the better!. But, as I mentioned before my range for videogame genres has no bounds, I'll play anything as long as it's fun!
