With the debut of a terrifying new trailer for Dark Atlas: Infernum (Steam) at The Horror Game Awards, the horror keeps getting worse. This new trailer (seen below), which was released by SelectaPlay and Night Council Studio, features terrifying first-person gameplay from the viewpoint of the main character, Natalia Asensio, in the upcoming psychological survival horror game. As a prelude to the full release, the trailer also provides a glimpse of terrifying new settings.
Check out the Dark Atlas: Infernum Horror Game Awards Trailer:
You take on the role of Natalia Asensio, Grand Master of an old esoteric order, in Dark Atlas: Infernum. You are imprisoned in a pitch-black, dust-filled cellar while supernatural forces are released into the globe as society disintegrates and dimensional boundaries break. Drugged and with only jumbled recollections of who she is, Natalia has to make her way through a world that verges on damnation. Your mind is plagued by haunting voices that sway your judgment and give you confusing commands. Every decision you make could either save your broken mind or condemn you to a life of pain.
The psychological and emotional toll that comes with fighting a failing world and an unknown identity is just as much of a terror as the scary beasts that lurk in the dark in Dark Atlas: Infernum. The darkness that aims to destroy your world and intellect is your worst opponent as Natalia. To avert the apocalypse, you must face the unknowable forces in the world and within yourself. Only then can you decide whether anything is still worth preserving.
Dark Atlas: Infernum Key Features:
- Psychological Survival Horror: Handle the blending of mental and physical realities as you represent Natalia is not a soldier but a leader with extensive esoteric knowledge. To survive, exercise caution and shrewdness.
- Immersive Terror: Experience fear in many ways: hide in dim hallways, listen for footsteps, keep an eye out for flickering lights, and examine each chamber to ensure your safety and concealment.
