DARK ECLIPSE Winter Update Adds New Content for the Holidays

Three new powerful characters, free sign-in bonuses and wintry skins are now available for players to unwrap and unleash in time for the holidays

NAGOYA, JAPAN – Fresh off the release of competitive Ranked Mode, PlayStation VR’s (PS VR) first-ever MOBA, DARK ECLIPSE, is introducing a massive content update featuring three all-new characters and four festive winter skins that are sure to please the game’s growing community. DARK ECLIPSE also received additional tutorials to further explain the game’s unique controls and strategic elements.

The three new challengers entering the DARK ECLIPSE fray are:

  1. Owen – A Leader that can channel his Energy Boost ability to muster strength and passively increase his movement speed before unleashing a deadly attack;
  2. Sosei – A support Dominator that can sustain lengthy combat and swing the tide of battle by reviving fallen Leaders and healing soldiers, knocking back nearby enemy units in the process;
  3. Jysook – An assassin Dominator with explosive abilities who can lay bomb traps around the battlefield and self-destruct to secure crucial kills.

Even on the hellish battlefields of DARK ECLIPSE, no holiday season can be truly cheerful without gifts. From now on, all players who login to DARK ECLIPSE will receive daily in-game gifts from SUNSOFT, including Eclipse Points, player icons, a Leader and hand skin.

With today’s update, players can also add an extra dash of holiday flair to their in-game persona by picking up a new Yeti hand skin, and winter skins for fan-favorite characters Veronika, Wuntasto, and Jysook.

DARK ECLIPSE is available now to download for free on the PlayStation 4 Store.
