Premise:
DC Universe Online by Daybreak Games is a free-to-play RPG, where you can choose to be a hero or a villain.
Gameplay:
In the DC Universe online you get to explore the open world and interact with the characters in the DC Universe.
DC Universe Online starts out showing as the heroes of earth fail to stop a take over from Brainiac; And, as a last effort, an unlikely hero travels back in time to warn the Justice League of the oncoming attack.
This unlikely hero is none other than Lex Luthur, who has stolen some of Brainiac’s robots and set them lose on the world. Brainiac had set these robots to steal superhero and supervillains powers. And Lex has brought these robots back in time to share these power with us.
And that’s where we come in – instead of the standard game where you take on the role of your favorite superhero or supervillain, you create your own super powered person. You pick the traits that you want your character to have. And you can pick abilities that are more in line with a superhero or you can pick the powers of a supervillain. As you progress through the game you will get the opportunity to either work with or face off with legendary characters such as
Superman,Batman, Lex Luthor,The Joker and many others. The more you play the more opportunities you have to power up your character.
Conclusion:
Hero or villain your goal is the same to prevent the destruction of earth.
The only question is which road will you take to get there? Hero or villain your choice is yours in the DC Universe Online.
