Fan-favorite Dead by Daylight’s 2v8 Game Mode, which brings together two horror heavyweights for its most memorable version to yet, is poised to end the year in spectacular manner. For the first time in video game history, SILENT HILL’s Pyramid Head and Castlevania’s Dracula—known in The Fog as The Executioner and The Dark Lord—will hunt side by side during the 2v8 Trials from November 6 to November 20.

KONAMI Takes Over 2v8
Two of KONAMI’s most enduring emblems of dread, each with an own legacy of decades-long terror, come together in this unparalleled crossover. With his massive, rusty blade and the ability to execute his victim directly, The Executioner, steeped in psychological terror, represents an unrelenting form of justice born in the foggy streets of Silent Hill. In contrast, the Dark Lord, a shape-shifting predator driven by an insatiable need, emanates gothic grandeur and alluring horror straight from the halls of Castlevania. When combined, they turn The Entity’s 2v8 Trials into a vicious pursuit of vengeance and bloodlust in which no Survivor is safe.
For the duration of the event, all players who enter the 2v8 queue will receive four free characters, drawing even more from each legendary series. SILENT HILL Survivor Cheryl Mason and Castlevania’s renowned vampire hunter Trevor Belmont join The Executioner and The Dark Lord; both are unlocked and accessible for everyone to play during the event.
Welcome Richter Belmont
Four new outfits inspired by KONAMI’s iconic characters are also included in Dead by Daylight’s most recent 2v8 update. In The Fog, Trevor Belmont’s Legendary Outfit introduces his descendant, the formidable Richter Belmont, into the Trials, extending the Belmont clan’s ancestry. The Very Rare Scorched Terror Outfit gives the Dark Lord himself a menacing new appearance that represents the sun’s scorching anger on his cursed body.
The Executioner is given the gory Very Rare Flayed Torturer Outfit, which turns him into the walking personification of misery, while Cheryl Mason, from the world of SILENT HILL, adopts a dark ritual with the Very Rare Awakened Order Outfit.
Dead by Daylight offers 2v8 Game Mode and the 2v8 Collection, which includes Castlevania and Silent Hill, starting today, November 6, until November 20, 2025.
