devcom 2018 Program with More than 60 International Speakers Announced

Cologne, German – The organizers of devcom 2018 today announced the current program of the international developer conference. devcom will welcome gaming industry experts from all over the world.

Apart from keynotes by speakers who have already been announced, Cory Barlog (Sony Santa Monica), Saralyn Smith (Blizzard Entertainment), Jan-Bart van Beek (Guerrilla Games), Jason VandenBerghe (ArenaNet) and Ethan Evans (Twitch), the program at the moment also contains more than 50 further talks and panels by renowned speakers and studios.

The line-up includes Yann Le Tensorer (GIANTS Software), Chris Chung (VOX Gamer), Mike Hines (Amazon), Jens Matthies (Machine Games), Marc Braun (Ubisoft Blue Byte) and Collin Bishop (CRYENGINE) among others. Those and about 60 other speakers from all over the world will offer insight into their work and its challenges, as well as the development of famous games like God of WarWolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Horizon Zero Dawn, and attempt an outlook on the gaming industry’s future. Devcom will take place from August 19th to 20th directly prior to gamescom.

The topics of the talks and panels range from Game Design, Education & Culture as well as Narrative and Art over Technolgy, Community, Studio & Project Management, PR/Marketing & Communication  to Legal, Business and Sound – a mix that ensures that visitors from all areas of the gaming industry can inform themselves about the latest hot topics.
