The popular survival life simulation game Dinkum, which was inspired by the Australian outback, is now available globally on Nintendo Switch, as announced by KRAFTON, Inc. and independent Australian creator James Bendon.
After its successful PC debut via Steam, Dinkum offers its comfortable, open-ended island adventure to a new player base ready to build, farm, and discover their own piece of the outback—now from any location.

DINKUM – Now on Switch: A Cozy Survival Sim
In Dinkum, players are invited to construct a life in the Australian-inspired wilderness, where there is something new to learn every day. By creating and personalizing their own colony, players can turn an area of wildness into a bustling community encircled by undulating hills, thick woods, and sun-kissed beaches.
Dinkum offers a blend of leisurely life-sim progression and light survival action that encourages inventiveness and curiosity, whether you’re farming crops, rearing animals, fishing rivers, or digging deep below. In addition, players can discover mysteries, explore the island’s various biomes, and make friends with vibrant locals who give their developing neighborhood vitality and personality.
The Nintendo Switch version has seamless performance in both docked and handheld modes, improved controls, and a reworked UI and UX for portable play. In local or online multiplayer, players may fully enjoy the experience as they develop and explore the outback together. For those ready to begin their outback journey, the Nintendo eShop offers a free demo.
